UNDERGRADUATE
The Faculty of Fine Arts offers degree programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Arts Honours (BA Hon), Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours (BFA Hon), and Bachelor of Design (BDes). Honors degree programs are usually completed over four years of full-time study.
However, part-time studies are available in some programs. Students concentrating in studio, performance, and/or production work normally graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Those concentrating in fine arts history, theory, and criticism graduate with a Bachelor of Arts. Design students graduate with a Bachelor of Design degree. A normal full-time academic load is five courses per year.
However, students have the option of pursuing Fine Arts degree studies on a part-time basis, taking as few as one course per year. Some restrictions apply, depending on the focus of the study.
